XPERISUS.com Has Been Rebuilt Around How Travel Advisors Actually Plan a Journey
The first phase of a platform redesign turns a catalogue of Japanese experiences into a starting point for client proposals.
TOKYO, October 7, 2026
XPERISUS, the Tokyo-based company that develops and distributes high-value travel experiences across Japan, has released the first phase of a redesign of XPERISUS.com, its members-only platform for travel advisors, agencies and tour operators.
The previous version of the site worked primarily as a catalogue — a place to browse individual experiences one at a time. The redesigned XPERISUS.com is built around a different question: How does an advisor turn a browsing session into something a client can actually say yes to?
Search Built for Real Planning Conditions
Search on the platform has been rebuilt around the conditions that actually shape a proposal, not just the features of an experience. Filters such as food restrictions and traveler age range exist because they decide, before any conversation with a client, whether an experience is viable from the get-go. A kaiseki dinner that cannot accommodate a severe allergy, for instance, is not a proposal an advisor can use, however compelling it looks on its own page.
A Wider, Organized Catalogue
The platform's catalogue already covers 24 of Japan's prefectures — from Tokyo and Kyoto to Fukui, Fukuoka and beyond — with new regions added regularly. Experiences are organized based on eight themes: Gastronomy & Libations, Culture & Performing Arts, Art & Architecture, Nightlife & After-Dark Experiences, Nature & Outdoor Adventure, Wellness, Entertainment, and Educational Entertainment — and structured around four core service areas: Accommodation, Private Guides, Dining, and Chauffeur Service.
From Search to Proposal
Every path through the platform (a filtered search or a single experience) leads to the same next step: Request a Proposal. Advisors submit the details of what their client needs, and the XPERISUS team takes it from there. Access to XPERISUS.com remains by approval only, reserved for travel advisors, agencies and tour operators working with high-value clients.
This is the first of several planned updates to the platform. XPERISUS will continue to add itineraries, experiences and planning tools throughout the year, alongside its ongoing work developing new high-value travel content across Japan.
Sample Itineraries: No Blank Page (Coming in Phase 2)
Coming in the platform's second release, planned later this year, are Sample Itineraries. These are fully structured, multi-day journeys that show travel time between cities, not just a list of experiences in isolation. Each itinerary will be built around a specific kind of traveler: a first-time visitor to Japan or a repeat traveler looking for something new, a particular age range, a honeymoon or an anniversary trip. An advisor will be able to open an itinerary that already resembles something they could send to a client.
